Electoral list for the state of Tamil Nadu is available online at the state election commission’s home page

To view the list,

• Visit the above page.
• Click on “View Electoral Rolls - 2007 Tamil”
• In the next page, choose your district and assembly constituency and submit
• You will get a list of booths in your constituency and PDF files for each of them
• Find the relevant booth and open the PDF file to see the electoral roles for that booth

You might face difficulties with the following,

• Font - Download 6 fonts from this page and put them in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder.
• On finding the correct PDF, you obviously would like to search in the PDF to find your name. But it’s quite difficult to search in tamil content. It didn’t work for me, when I tried with the unicode characters. But you can always search by the voter ID, street number or the door number.

This time the enrollment too can be done online. Go to the Online Enrollment page, fill in the details and submit.
